Rosemary is an effective hair tonic and conditioner. Rosemary also helps retain color especially in dark hair.
A pinch of camphor added to coconut oil and applied on hair helps to prevent infections and lice infestations.
For problems with dandruff, add rosemary and/or patchouli essential oils to your shampoo or mix with almond oil as a hair treatment for your scalp.
Heat 1/4 to 1/2 tsp extra virgin olive oil and pour it into a bottle with nozzle. Now spray it onto the hair but do not spray in on the scalp. Now cover your head with a shower cap. Cover your head with a towel soaked in warm water for an hour. Now shampoo your hair without wetting your hair.
High Protein Scalp Conditioner
This high-protein, all-natural hair conditioner will help to dislodge any debris or pollution that may be clogging the tiny openings in your scalp.
- 250 ml (1 cup) fresh skimmed milk
- 1 egg yolk (separated from the egg white)
- 2 capsules of wheat germ oil contents
- 1 tablespoon of fresh wheat germ
- The contents of 1 tablespoon of lecithin granules
- 1 tablespoon natural wheat brain
Slowly and firmly massage the mixture into your scalp. Leave the mixture on for about 10 minutes. If you cover your head with a shower cap or you drape a towel around your head and lie on a slant board while the conditioner does its work, you will benefit even more because of the gravity effect.
After 10 minutes, thoroughly rinse the conditioner from your hair with warm (not hot) water. Follow with your usual shampoo and conditioner.
Home-made Hair Solutions:
Hair Tonic -
Put 130 gms, each dried reetha, shikaki and amla into one litre water. Keep it for few hours and boil them. After cooling strain and use as a shampoo.
