Egg Shampoo
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp castile soap
- 1/2 cup water or herbal tea
- Drop of fragrant essential oil of your choice (optional)
Combine all in blender and whip until smooth. Blend all the items in the blender until the mixture is combined well and is smooth. Shampoo with mixture using warm, not hot water for the shampoo and rinse. Store any remaining shampoo in the refrigerator for use the next day.
Tips for Egg Shampoo
- Use the shampoo immediately. It can be stored in the fridge for 1 day and must be used by then or it will spoil.
- The egg strengthens the hair by adding protein, olive oil gives it gloss and sheen and lemon juice works as a clarifier.
